We're a church whose
purpose is to consistently proclaim God's Word in an expository manner so that the hearers
will be able to participate in the life of God by receiving Jesus Christ as
Savior:
- by
growing in His grace and in the knowledge of Him;
- by serving and worshipping God in love;
- and by enjoying
Christian fellowship without unnecessary conflict.

| Church
Body... |
| Although
the body is only about 45 people (including kids!), we come from
different walks of life and different areas of the country, as
well as well life-long local residents. We enjoy and
appreciate the need to fellowship and edify one
another. |

| Care
Group... |
| The
Care Group, which meets on Tuesday Nights at the Martin's house, is a
relaxed environment that allows time for prayer, study and fellowship
for the adults and fellowship for the youth and kids. Snacks and
decaf coffee are devoured while friendships flourish in this warm
environment.
The Care Group is NOT
ONLY FOR CHURCH MEMBERS! :) We're grateful and edified by the
participation and fellowship from folks that are members of other
churches. Because we meet on Tuesday night, it allows folks that
have obligations on Sunday and Wednesday to come. It starts at
7:00 and ends from 8:00 to 8:30. Although we meet weekly, there
may be an occasional re-scheduling. Please call Trae Martin
at (704) 732-2768. |

| History... |
| In
February, 2003, a small group of families met for a Care Group and Bible
study in a relaxed home environment. We were blessed to have
Pastor Darrel and his wife, Hazel visit from Texas for a few days.
He led us in a study on "Definitions" followed by a long and
productive, "Question and Answer" session. Most of the
participants had a good Bible foundation but realized that there was so
much more to learn about God's Word. There was a real
excitement!
After Pastor Darrel and
his wife Hazel returned to Texas, they prayerfully considered taking on
a missionaries' challenge to plant a church in Lincolnton,
NC. Gratefully, the Lord answered our prayers with a
resounding, "Yes!" Our first service started on August
3, 2003 and addressed, "Why another church?" |
